mJetz Developer Center

mJetz is a general-purpose mobile browser and a platform for "mJetz" - mobile widgets.  We provide browsing and basic personalization capabilities, the mJetz platform, and a few sample Jetz; and the developer community provides most Jetz.  The mJetz platform gives you a very fast way to quickly develop and quickly deliver:

  • mobile apps with lots of content
  • mobile apps with your client's own brand
  • mobile apps with more interactivity than a mobile web site or a feed
  • mobile apps that can (your choice) show ads that earn revenue for the developer
  • mobile apps that run on most mobile phones

A Jetz developer has the use of:

  • XML to specify text, graphics and actions comprising the browsing view of the Jet
  • HTML-like XML to specify text, graphics, actions and form elements in page views of the Jet
  • client-side markup for accessing the Jet XML DOM and making cool stuff happen
  • a simple API for persisting information, requesting ads, and other handy functions

mJetz SDK

An SDK describing the above schemae and interfaces and illustrating them with sample Jetz will be released October 2008.  In the meantime, interested developers should by all means contact us with questions on the mJetz platform and SDK and so we can update you on SDK availability and capabilities.
